Probate

The citizens of Plainville are serviced by the Farmington Regional Probate Court. The Probate Court has jurisdiction over the probate of wills, administration of estates, oversight of trusts, determinations of title to real and personal property, granting of name changes, and interpretation of wills. Some additional services include guardian appointments for minors and persons with intellectually disablities and appointments of conservators of estates.
